Looking at nature may make you healthier, researchers at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health found. They learned patients recovered from surgery faster when they had a view of trees rather than a brick wall outside the window. Workers suffered fewer headaches and prisoners had fewer doctor visits when they could view nature. One doctor at the university theorized our bodies might respond biochemically to nature and stress levels might drop as we view trees, smell water and feel wind. We all could benefit from a walk in the park!
