Cleaning Products Manufacturer Fined $600K for Phosphorous Violation

An Alberta company pleaded guilty to using excessive concentrations of phosphorous in its commercial laundry detergents. In addition to a $600K fine, the company was added to the Environmental Offenders Registry [Acuity Holdings, Inc., Govt. Press Release, Nov. 6, 2017].
