Car Wash Worker Pulled Into Brushes

One might not believe a car wash could be a dangerous place to work, but it almost proved fatal for an attendant in Florida. According to reports, a female employee became entangled in a water hose before being pulled into a spinning brush mechanism at Soapy’s Car Wash in Ocala, FL.

A co-worker managed to stop the machine and call paramedics. Reportedly it took 45 minutes to rescue the critically injured employee, who suffered crushing injuries to her legs. An investigation was pending to determine how the woman became trapped in the automated device. It wasn’t immediately reported whether machine guarding was an issue.
